Your host and owner, Coretha Odendal established La Rochelle B&B in 2002. A lot of time and energy was spent, restoring the old Victorian house to a real treasure that looks even more beautiful than when it was built in 1885.

The ambiance that can be experienced is emphasized by the special attention that was paid to the garden and rooms.

Coretha has been a member of Wellington Tourism for resent years. Her husband, Thys is a full time lecturer at the nearby CPUT Campus. Hennie, their son, became part of La Rochelle Guest House early 2013.

They have been inhabitants of Wellington for approximately 30 years and therefore well informed about the town's history, wine farms, restaurants and other places of interest.
